Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin

A bunch of literate cows go on strike after Farmer Brown refuses to give in to their demands of electric blankets when the barn gets too cold. "Cows that type. Hens on strike!" How will Farmer Brown resolve his problems?

How these stories are connected: The story of the tower of Babel teaches us what can happen if we focus on ourselves and our own desires. Farmer Brown's animals experience the same thing when a typewriter gives them the power to work for what they want.
