The Little Tree That Would Not Share by Nicoletta Costa

A little tree doesn’t want to share his leaves, shade, or branches with anyone. When he sees the world around him full of life because of sharing, will he change his mind?

How these stories are connected: The little tree thought he was better than everyone else. He gets upset when he starts to lose his leaves, but Ada the crow calms him down by teach him about the seasons. He becomes less selfish and celebrates spring with new friends. The Psalm is a prayer asking God to forgive us for the things we do that are wrong. Perhaps it is a prayer the little tree might have prayed!
