Art by Patrick McDonnell

Art makes art about everything, from the time he wakes up until he falls asleep. When he wakes up, he discovers his art in a special place.

How these stories are connected:  The ways we love and the things we love to do can make a difference for other people.

Questions about Art:

     Why did Art make art?

Why did the story say we should stay out of Art's way?

What did Art's mom do with his art? Why?

What difference did Art's art make for his mom?

Questions about the Bible story:

Why did Philip feed the poor and help the sick?

What did he do when he saw the Ethiopian reading the scroll?

After Philip taught him, what did the Ethiopian decide to do?

What difference do you think being baptized make in the Ethiopian's life?

Questions about our lives:

Jesus calls us to love and help people too. What do you think he wants you to do?

What difference do you think you make for other people?

Prayer

Dear Jesus, help us to believe in you and to learn to do the things that will help other people. Help us to tell other people about you. Amen.
