Everyone sins, causing hurt and destruction to themselves and others. "Forgiveness" means being unwilling to harbor grudges, carry burdens, or seek revenge against those who have hurt us. But forgiveness does not necessarily mean continuing in the relations. "Reconciliation" means being willing to re-engage the person who hurt you. Reconciliation provides a way forward in the relationship. This sermon contains the personal testimony of Reagan, who was refused the rite of confirmation as a teenager.
