Matthew 17: 1-9 Jesus takes three of his followers up a mountain and is transfigured before them
To tell or not to tell

In the midst of struggle, have you ever glimpsed definite hope, promise, and a glorious outcome? Can you imagine keeping such a certain victorious outcome to yourself?

That's what Jesus asks his inner circle to do. In the midst of trial, struggle, challenge to authority, and plain old hard work, they have a sure and certain epiphany. Yet Jesus orders them to tell no one.

How does that work?

What does that say to us?

What difference does their epiphany make for us? After all, aren't we in the midst of trial, struggle, challenge to authority, and plain old hard work too?
