Years ago, we created the heart-shaped garden on the north-west corner of the church property to honour the life of our beautiful Brittney McInnes. Brittney’s death was a terrible tragedy for her family, the community, her church family and we felt that the new life in a garden would bring comfort to all.  We decided that as well as making the garden a remembrance of Brittney, we would dedicate it to the memory of all women who have lost their lives through violence, especially our indigenous sisters.

Please bring either a pink or purple petunia to the garden planting.  If you cannot make it that Saturday morning, just leave your plant at the north entrance of the church and someone will plant it for you.
