This work was inspired by the hymn “Let Streams of Living Justice”. The quoted text is by William Witla. I cut, wove and collaged a photo of the world, our congregation and several of the cross stained glass windows in our sanctuary. After painting a clear finish over top, I expanded outward using watercolour pencils and acrylic paint. Finally, I added collaged printed text from the hymn.
I hope my work expresses the wonderful tapestry that is faith and daily life woven together and shining the light of Christ into the darkness, wherever it is found.
