Thursday mornings at 9-11 am (September - May) a small group of people hand assemble quilts to provide warmth for people in need.

We have a legacy of giving quilts to support humanitarian projects of CLWR. Through the partnership of congregations across Canada just like ours, CLWR distributed over 100,000 quilts annually to refugee camps and people receiving international aid.

Although CLWR has discontinued this program, quilting continues at Church of the Cross to provide relief for people served through local agencies.

The quilters are a sociable group of people who take a planned coffee break (with baked goodies) midway through the morning. If you are in the building during their coffee break time, you are invited to have refreshments with them whether you are quilting or not.

There's room for you...and it's not just for women! No quilting experience is required.
