New Church Software

Our brand new church software is up and running!  

Let me share with you a couple of examples of why I am so excited for this new platform.

The first is the interactive church directory.  I know there was the paper directory before.  This digital version will allow you to search by the any field.  Let's say you were chatting in church on Sunday with another member, but you can't remember their name.  You do remember their child's name.  Search that child and it wil connect you to their parents.  Just know a first name - search away.  And when you find them in the directory you just hit the hyperlink and you can instantly email them.  No typos, no copy errors.

The next feature I am excited about is groups.  Ever wonder how you can get invovled in the church, not sure what different groups gather.  Now we will have a section where you can see and join those different groups.  Want to join the Mens Breakfast?  We have the ability for you to text MensBreakfast to the church and it will automatically have you join the group.  That group leader can then log into their personal profile, and as leader, email all of those people with a single click.  

There is a huge snow storm rolling into town and we decide it is best to cancel worship on Sunday Morning.  No problem - now we can text everyone an instant message.

Want to see what is going on at the church.  The website calendar is integrated with Google Calendars, you can add that right to your own Calendar and never miss another event.

Agape Cafe Event rolls around again - no need to call into the church to RSVP.  Go to our Event Page and RSVP right there.

This new platform will not mean you can't call me at the church to sign up for events and ask questions.  This will just streamline it.  That way, if you are like me and thinking of these things as you get ready for bed at night, you can log in and take care of it right then and there!
