Each year, the gospel texts that are assigned from the Revised Common Lectionary focus on a different gospel. We are just finishing the year of Mark and will begin the year of Luke beginning in December. The gospel of Luke is the first of two volumes that the gospel writer wrote. The second volume is Acts. In this study, we prepare ourselves for Luke’s account of Jesus and how his actions are mirrored in Acts.

The themes for each Wednesday in November are:

·         Nov. 5 – Reviewing the Gospel of Mark
·         Nov. 12—The different perspectives of the gospel writers and St. Paul
·         Nov.  19 – The context, audience and intent of Luke
·         Nov. 26 -- Parallels in Luke and Acts

This will be our first attempt to do a hybrid study: in-person and online at the same time. Please let Pastor Phil know if you are planning to attend either in–person or online!
