On Saturday August 19th at 2pm, join Taryn Plater (Soprano) and Scott Rumble (Tenor) for an afternoon recital, featuring the music of Stephen Sondheim!
Many of you know Taryn Plater as the granddaughter of Bill and Ruth Ruecker. She is studying voice performance at UBC (in addition to Linguistics and a Master of Management degree). A lifelong member and confirmand of ELCOC, Taryn is coming home for a few days to rehearse and give you this music recital. Scott Rumble received his Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma from Western University. He is currently completing a Masters in Opera Performance at UBC, studying with acclaimed tenor, Patrick Raftery. The hour-long recital will be accompanied by ELCOC’s own Evan Mounce.
