Together we remember those whose lives have been cut short by violence. Those who have been murdered shall not be forgotten.

On the first Saturday of June, we plant pink and purple petunias in the Remembering Garden as we remember Britteny McInnes and the hundreds of missing and murdered aboriginal women across the country, and make space for the community to remember other people whose lives have been cut short.

The planting begins with a short informal service, including the music and storytelling of the aboriginal group Sisters by Another Mother, and continues with community planting.

The garden is located on the corner of Elbow Dr and Sylvester Ct on the church property.

Bring a purple or pink petunia and a small gardening shovel, or borrow one from someone onsite.

We'll have coffee & other refreshments.
